It was a long day painting jackets in the garage in preparation for the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival in Philadelphia. The top jacket was a commission job for a good friend and fellow DJ, John D. His buddy Jay Jay died a few years back and John was left this jacket as a keepsake. For full effect, John always wanted Jay Jay painted as a skeleton riding thrashing a skateboard down the back of the jacket. Mission accomplished — Dude was thrilled when he saw it.
Below it is the first string in “Nowhere” icon jackets, complete with eyeballs painted on either shoulder and the bat icon on the back.
