I spent the past two months developing this leather wrapped, hand-painted rendition of Nudie Cohn’s infamous “Gilded Palace of Sin” suit, which he originally made for Gram Parsons in the late 60s. I brought the idea to Mike Stampler of Norman Porter during a late night dice game and he decided to assist me in upholstery the Biltwell Helmet. Once everything was wrapped, I proceeded to add the drug-laden design of the original suit with Kafka pin striping brushes and One Shot enamel.
It’s off to Biltwell to be raffled at this year’s Babes Ride Out. One lucky babe is going to get the chance to get this thing dirty.
